I am a software engineer on the S3 Batch Operations team at AWS. I work on making data management at scale easy, designing and building high performance distributed systems to handle millions of transcations per second.
I graduated from University of Chicago, where I majored in math and computer science and completed an M.S. in computer science. At UChicago, I worked with Professor Andrew A. Chien and the Large Scale Systems Group on domain specific data representation and transformation. I also worked on building PandaSQL, a platform for scalable data science with Rohan Kumar and Professor Raul Castro Fernandez.
